Our office is House Number 43, right near the Panjabari bus stop in the Juripar area. It’s a good spot because the bus stop makes it easy for the crew to get here. We do construction work all over this part of Guwahati, from Basistha to Panjabari. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, even though we are a private limited company. We have our equipment stored nearby and spend most of our time out on site rather than sitting at a desk. The office is usually just for doing the accounts and meeting people who want to build a new floor or fix up an old house. We don't use big corporate talk. We just tell you what materials cost and how long it’ll take. Sometimes the traffic on the main road makes getting trucks in a real pain, but we've learned to work around it. We’ve been in the neighborhood for a long time, so we know most of the people on the street. It’s nice to see a building we worked on a few years ago still looking solid. We don’t have a website or anything like that; people usually just find us by word of mouth or by seeing our sign near the bus stop. It’s a simple way of doing business, but it works for us and keeps the bills paid. We just take things one day at a time. Living and working in Juripar has been our way of life for years now.
