We are located at House Number 17 on Ganga Path, right along Hengarabari Road. This is in the Kamrup area, specifically under the GMC. We run an export business from this spot. It’s a residential-feeling area but we have our office setup here. Most of our work revolves around finding markets for items and getting them shipped out. It sounds simple but there is a lot of waiting involved. We spend hours waiting for confirmation from different departments. The road outside can get quite loud with the local traffic. We don't really mind, it’s just the sound of the city. Our team is small and we don't have a lot of formal meetings. We just talk across the room when something needs to be done. We focus on the practical side of exports. That means making sure the boxes are packed right and the labels are clear. Sometimes we have to stay late to deal with people in different time zones. It is a bit tiring but it’s what we signed up for. We don't have any polished presentations to show. We just have our records and our reputation with the people we work with. It's a straightforward way to run a business. We like the location here in Assam because it’s home for us. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. There is always something new to learn when you are dealing with different countries.
