Aipec Foundation

Aipec Foundation is based at House Number 26 on Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Path, right off Gellapukhuria Road. It is a familiar neighborhood for most of us. The house itself is pretty standard for this area. We have turned a few rooms into our workspace. It has got a bit of a lived-in feel, which we like. There are always piles of books and folders everywhere. We are not trying to impress anyone with a sleek office design. We just need a place to sit, think, and coordinate our activities. The street outside can get a bit congested during the morning rush, but it is usually peaceful enough for us to focus. We spend our time working on various tasks, mostly things that affect the local community. We are just regular people who decided to put our heads together. We do not have a big budget for marketing, so we rely on people seeing what we actually do. Sometimes we have tea breaks on the porch and talk about what needs to happen next. We all just work together on whatever is needed. We do not have strict hierarchies or corporate rules. If something needs to be fixed, whoever is closest does it. It is a very practical approach to running a foundation. We have been here for a bit now and the neighbors know us. It feels like a good place to be doing this kind of work without making it into something too professional-sounding.
