7Weaves Research Foundation

We spend most of our days here on B.K Kakati Road in Ulubari. It’s a busy part of Guwahati, and we are tucked away at Anu Dewa’s place. Most people around here know the spot. We started 7Weaves Research Foundation because there was work that needed doing. It is not a fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. We have a few desks, lots of papers, and usually someone is making tea in the corner. Research takes time, and sometimes the heat in Guwahati makes the afternoons feel a bit slow, but we keep at it. We aren't trying to change the whole world overnight, just focusing on the specific things we look into here. People walk by the office all the time on their way to the main road. Sometimes they pop in to ask directions or just to say hello. It is a grounded way to work. We don't have a marketing team writing things for us. It’s just us, working through all the information we gather and the local projects we have on our plate. Some days are loud because of the traffic outside, and other days are quiet when it rains. We have been in this spot for a while now and the neighborhood feels like home to the foundation. It is just honest work being done by local people who care about the details. We try to keep things simple and not get caught up in big corporate talk. We just do our best.
