Our office is in the Tower Wali Building, which is right opposite Sector 6 near the petrol pump. We’re out in Village Kamli in Parwanoo, sitting pretty close to NH-22. Being near the highway means there is a constant flow of trucks and cars passing by, which brings a fair amount of dust into the office if we leave the windows open too long. The building itself is a bit of a landmark because of the tower, making it easy to tell people where to find us. We handle international trade and equipment, so the phone lines are usually busy with calls from different time zones. It’s a bit of a commute for some of us, but the view of the hills around Parwanoo makes it worth it on clear days. The office layout is a bit haphazard, with desks crammed wherever they could fit when we expanded last year. We’ve got a small corner for making tea, which is probably the most used part of the whole floor. The nearby petrol pump is where we usually grab snacks or meet drivers who are coming in to pick up shipments. It’s not a sterile, quiet office environment. There’s always someone talking loudly on a mobile or the sound of a printer going off in the background. It’s just how we operate, keeping things moving in our corner of the industrial belt without any extra fuss.
