Shilleima Handloom Producer Company Limited is situated in the Khurai Sajor Leikai area of Imphal East. Specifically, we are at Mr. Tensubam Bishwanath’s place in Poromeat I East. It’s a bit of a mouthful of an address, but it’s just where we work. Laml is nearby, so it’s a familiar part of the town for most people living in this part of Manipur. We focus on handloom production, which is a lot of hands-on work. The space we have is filled with the tools and materials needed for what we do. It’s not a polished showroom; it looks like a place where people actually work and make things. You’ll find yarn and looms and different pieces of fabric all over the place. We don’t really have a marketing team or anyone like that. It’s mostly just us and the producers trying to get things organized. We’ve been here in Poromeat for a while now, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. It’s a practical environment. We don’t go for anything fancy.
