B S Bricks

People usually find us here at 34/8 in Vivekananda Colony without much trouble once they get into Ashok Nagar. It is a noisy spot because of all the loading and unloading going on throughout the day. We have been in this part of the city for a while now. Most days start pretty early, around sunrise, when the first trucks pull up to the yard. There is always a lot of red dust on everything, including the office chairs and the old tea cups we keep on the desk. You get used to it after a week or two working here. The yard isn't huge, but we pack the stacks high and try to keep things organized so the drivers don't have to wait too long. Sometimes when it rains, the ground gets real soft and the wheels spin, which is a big headache for everyone. We spend a lot of time just talking to the drivers and checking the tallies. It’s mostly just us and a few helpers moving things around. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything like that. Just the stacks of bricks and the gate that we leave open so people can drive right in. Most people who come by are just looking for a few loads for their small projects around the neighborhood. It gets quiet in the evening after the last tractor leaves, and that is when we finally sweep up a bit. We don't do much besides this, just the bricks and the daily grind.
