Bengal Amuja

Bengal Amuja is situated out in Krishnanagar, on Dr. Sachine Sen Road in the Radhananagar area. We are specifically located near the Ghurni post office in Nadia district. If you know Ghurni, you know it is famous for its clay dolls, and you can see that artistic vibe throughout the neighborhood. Our office is a bit far from the big city life of Kolkata, which suits us just fine. The pace here is much slower and more personal. We work out of a building that is surrounded by a bit of greenery, and the air feels a little fresher than what you get in the crowded metros. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we all know each other’s families and what is going on in the town. We spend our days managing the local operations, which involves a lot of talking to people face to face. It is not all digital here; we still use a lot of ledgers and physical files. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow, so we take that time to have a cup of tea and chat about the local news. We are a small team and we don't have any big corporate slogans. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and get to work. It is a quiet corner of West Bengal, and we are quite content being a part of this community in Nadia.
