Subhadra Surgical

We are located at F-10 on the ground floor of the Zojwala Shopping Centre. It’s right on Agra Road in Kalyan West. Being on the ground floor is a big help because we deal with surgical supplies and some of the equipment can be quite heavy to carry up stairs. Agra Road is one of those places that never seems to be quiet. There’s always someone honking or a crowd walking by. We’ve got a lot of boxes stacked up inside because we try to keep a good variety of items for the local clinics and patients. It gets a bit dusty with all the traffic outside, so I’m usually wiping down the glass counters every few hours. We don’t have a lot of staff, just a couple of us who know where everything is kept. It might look a bit cluttered to an outsider, but we have a system that works. Most of our customers are coming from the nearby hospitals. They usually have a list of things the doctor wants them to get. We try to be quick so they can get back to their families. The shopping centre is an older building, but it’s a landmark that everyone knows. We have our tea delivered from the stall around the corner twice a day. It’s a steady job and we like the people we meet. We’ve been here for years and the neighbors are all very friendly people who stop to say hello.
