Mandlik And Co. has been operating out of Shop No. 13 in the Shiv Aryavastu Apartment for a while now. We are right in the Kokan Vasahat area, quite close to Birla College. If you know the hospital behind us, Sampada Hospital, then you know exactly where we are. It’s a busy little corner of the world. The shop isn’t huge, but we pack it full of whatever we need to get through the day's tasks. Usually, someone is always here from early morning until the sun goes down. We get a lot of students passing by from the college and people heading to the hospital, so there’s always noise outside. Inside, it’s mostly just us handling paperwork or talking to suppliers on the phone. Sometimes the power goes out or the rain makes things damp, but that’s just how it goes here. We don’t do much advertising because most people just walk in or know us from the neighborhood. It’s a family-style setup, really. No one wears a suit. We just wear what’s comfortable and get the work finished. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the road, which is a bit of a headache, but we manage. If you’re ever near Birla College and need to find us, just look for the apartment building. We’re usually around unless it’s a public holiday or a very quiet Sunday. Just a regular shop doing regular things every single day to keep everything moving.
