Dash Ink

Dash Ink is at Shop No.1 in Bharat Bhoir Park. It's on Ram Bagh Lane No. 4 in Kalyan West. I spend most of my days here surrounded by bottles of ink and various machines. The shop isn't very large, but we've made it work for us over the years. Some mornings start early when the deliveries arrive, and I have to move things around to make space. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes. Ram Bagh is a busy area, and there's always someone walking past or stopping in to ask a question. The walls are a bit stained from the ink, which I guess happens when you've been doing this for a long time. It’s just the way it is. Kalyan West is always noisy with the rickshaws and people, and we are right in the middle of it. I try to keep the place organized, but by midday, there are papers everywhere. We don't have any fancy chairs or a waiting lounge. It’s just a practical workspace where we get the job done. I know the neighbors pretty well, like the guy at the tea stall nearby. We just handle the work as it comes in. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to sit and wait. It’s not a perfect setup, but it’s ours and we show up every day to keep it going.
