Anthati Kurmaiah

I am based out of Lingasanipally in the Kalwakurthy mandal. My address is 3-3/1 and that's where you can usually find me if I'm not out in the fields. It is a small village and news travels fast here. I go by my name Kurmaiah and people know what I do. I don't have any employees or anything. Just myself and maybe a family member helping out on busy days. The house is old and the walls could use a bit of paint but it works for me. I spend my mornings checking on things and my afternoons resting when it gets too hot. Kalwakurthy is where we go for the bigger stuff like tools or repairs. The road to the village is a bit bumpy so you have to drive slow or you'll ruin your tires. I like the quiet life here away from the noise of the bigger towns. We don't use any fancy technology or apps to run things. Just common sense and hard work. I’ve lived here since I was a boy and seen many people come and go. Every day is pretty much the same but I like the consistency. You know what to expect from the people and the land. It is a humble way of doing things. I don't need a big office to do my job. Just a place to sit and some honest work to do before the sun goes down.
