Our place is Gopinath Enterprise and we are located out at Block No. 162. We are right behind Bharat Aluminum on the Santej - Vadsar Road. It is in the village of Santej, which is part of the Kalol area in Gandhinagar district. Being out here means we are away from the main city noise, but it is an industrial zone, so there is always the sound of machinery and big trucks. The road outside can get pretty muddy when it rains, and it is usually quite dusty when the sun is out. We have a simple building where we keep all our supplies and do our paperwork. It is a practical setup because we need the space for the trucks to come in and out. Most of the people working here live in the nearby villages or come in from Kalol. We start early in the morning before it gets too hot. There is a small tea shop down the road where we usually go during the break. It is not a fancy corporate environment at all. We wear work clothes and don't mind getting our hands a bit dirty. The office is just a small room with some old wooden furniture and a few ceiling fans that click when they spin. We have been at this Santej location for a long time and everyone in the area knows where we are. It’s just honest work in a quiet part of Gujarat.
