Our place is situated out on Plot No. 156 To 161/P along the Chhatral-Kadi Road in Dhanot. It’s a bit of a stretch of road that sees a lot of heavy transport, especially with all the industrial activity happening around this part of the state. Ome Sea Interlink Pvt. Ltd. handles a lot of the logistical side of things, mostly dealing with the links between sea transport and inland needs. The office is right there on the plot, and it’s usually filled with the sound of printers going and people talking on their mobiles. Since we have a few plots combined from 156 to 161, there is a decent amount of space, but it always seems to fill up with something. Whether it’s containers or just equipment waiting to move, the yard stays pretty cluttered. The dust from the Chhatral-Kadi Road is a constant battle, especially when the wind picks up in the afternoon. We aren't trying to be the most polished company in the world. We just try to make sure the containers get where they are supposed to go without too much drama. Some days are smoother than others, and sometimes the paperwork gets backed up, but that’s just the nature of the shipping world. We’re just a bunch of folks working out of Dhanot, trying to keep the links in the chain moving as best as we can manage each day.
