You can find Nirmal Industries at Plot No. I/45/6 within the Gidc Estate. It’s just a standard industrial plot like the ones next to it. We have a small team here that looks after everything from the production line to loading the finished goods. The building itself has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and keeps the rain off the machines, which is what matters. Working in a GIDC estate means you’re always surrounded by the sounds of other factories, and there’s a constant smell of grease and metal in the air. We don’t have a fancy website or a glossy brochure to show people. Usually, someone just calls us up or drops by the plot to see what’s going on. We start our shifts early to beat the afternoon heat. The office is just a desk and some filing cabinets in the corner of the shed. It gets pretty hectic when we have a big deadline, but mostly it’s just a steady rhythm. Our neighbors are mostly other small workshops, so we sometimes borrow tools or help each other out if a truck gets stuck. It’s an honest way to make a living. We’ve stayed at this same address for years because it’s close to the main transport routes and our workers live nearby. There isn’t much more to it than that. We just come in, do the work, and go home.
