Rolmetal Industries

Rolmetal Industries is based out of the GIDC Industrial Estate in Kalol. We have a few plots here, 26/1 and 27/1-2. It’s a proper industrial setup. Working with metal means there is always the sound of machinery and the smell of grease in the air. It’s not a quiet place. Our company has been in Gandhinagar district for a long time. The factory floor is where most of the action happens. A small office is tucked away in the corner where we handle the orders and the tea. It’s mostly men in overalls and heavy boots around here. We make various metal components that go into other machines. It’s heavy work and it gets very hot in the summer months. You won't find any polished brochures or a team of marketing people here. There are just the machines and the guys who know how to run them. Sometimes a machine breaks down and the whole day is spent getting it back online. That's just factory life. Growth happened over the years, taking over the extra plot, but we still feel like a local outfit. We know the other business owners in the GIDC. Everyone helps each other out with tools or advice sometimes. It’s a tough environment, but it’s what we know. The main focus is just getting the parts made and shipped out to whoever ordered them. It's a lot of sweat and noise, but that's how things get built. We just keep at it.
