Harsh Packaging

Harsh Packaging is situated at Plot No. 3509 in Phase 4 of the GIDC in Chatral, Kalol. It’s a big industrial zone with lots of similar-looking plots, so you have to look for our number. We spend our days dealing with various packing materials. It’s a lot of physical work, moving rolls and stacks of stuff around the warehouse. The air usually smells a bit like plastic or cardboard depending on what we are processing that day. We aren't a giant corporation, just a local outfit trying to keep things moving. We have a couple of old machines that sometimes need a bit of coaxing to stay running, but they get the job done. Our team is small, mostly people from the nearby areas who have been working in the GIDC for years. We eat our lunch together in the small break area and talk about local news. It’s not a glamorous job, but packaging is something everyone needs, so we stay busy enough. Sometimes the delivery trucks get delayed in the traffic near Kalol, which throws off our schedule, but we just adjust and keep going. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that. We just answer the phone, take the orders, and get the bundles ready for pickup. It’s a simple, honest way to run a business in this part of the state, focusing on the work in front of us.
