Ram Traders

Our little place is in Derol right beside Darshan Printing Press near the station. Being close to Derol Station means we hear the trains going by all day long. It is a sound you eventually stop noticing after you have been here a few months. We are a trading business so it is a lot of buying and selling and keeping track of inventory. The shop isn't very big at all. We have shelves full of stock and a small desk where we keep the books. It is a simple operation. We don't have any fancy computers or high-tech systems. Most of our work is done with a pen and paper and a lot of patience. The printing press next door is always busy so there is a lot of coming and going in the alley. People from the village stop by to chat or see what is new in stock. We don't have a big mission statement or anything. We just try to have what people need when they need it. Sometimes the deliveries are late because the roads around Derol are not great but everyone understands how it is. We have been here for a long time and know just about everyone in town. It is a slow pace of life compared to the big cities and we prefer it that way. We just keep the shop open and work.
