Vishal Industries

You will find Vishal Industries over at Plot No. L-1210 in Phase-1 of the GIDC. It is a bit of a walk from the main entrance, but it’s a quiet corner which is nice. We have been here for a good number of years. The space is filled with racks and tools. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but it has a logic that we understand. My brother handles the morning shift and I take over in the afternoon. We don't have any fancy titles. We just do whatever needs doing, whether it’s loading a truck or fixing a leak in the roof. We get our tea from a stall just outside the gate. The guy there knows exactly how we like it. We don't spend money on glossy brochures or social media stuff. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for a long time. They just call us up or stop by the plot. We keep our overheads low so we don't have to worry too much. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but it’s not a priority right now. We’d rather spend that money on better parts for the machinery. It’s a basic workshop environment. There is always a layer of dust on the windows, but the work we produce is solid. That is what keeps us going day after day. We like the honest work of making things.
