Vinayak Plasto Packs

We run Vinayak Plasto Packs out of Plot No. 3206 in Phase-3 of the GIDC. It’s a big industrial zone and things move fast around here. Our place is basically a big warehouse with some machines and a small corner where we keep the desk and the phone. We make plastic packaging, so the sound of the machines is pretty much constant from morning until we shut down for the night. It gets hot in the summer, but we’re used to it. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know how to keep the lines running and make sure the bags or whatever we are making come out right. There’s no fancy lobby or anyone to greet you at the door. If someone comes by, they usually just walk in and find whoever isn't busy. We spend most of our time making sure the raw materials are loaded and the output is stacked properly. The floors are concrete and usually have a bit of scrap plastic on them until we sweep up at the end of the shift. We’ve been in this spot for quite a few years now. Most of the neighbors know us by now. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. People just find us through word of mouth or because they saw our sign while driving through the GIDC on their way to something else.
