Walking into our place at Plot No. 1507-1514 in Phase-2 of Gidc, you’ll mostly hear the sound of metal being worked. It’s a big area, covering several plots, so there is plenty of room for all the radiator parts and the machinery we use. We’ve been set up here for a good bit, and the routine hasn't changed much over the years. We spend our mornings checking the schedules and then it’s straight to the shop floor. Making radiators involves a lot of soldering and checking for leaks, which can be tedious if you aren't used to it. The guys are good at spotting a bad seam before it even leaves the bench. Phase-2 is always busy, with trucks constantly backing in and out of the narrow roads around here. It gets loud and sometimes a bit chaotic when three different deliveries show up at the same time. We don’t have any polished lobby or fancy reception area; it’s mostly just desks piled with papers and the smell of cooling fluid and metal. In the summers, the metal roof makes everything feel twice as hot, but we’ve got big fans that help a little. We just focus on getting the units built and out the door so we can start on the next pile of orders. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us on our feet all day long. We just want to get through the orders without any of the machines breaking down on us.
