V-trans (india) Ltd. is situated right on the Kalol Mehsana Highway. If you’re driving down that way, you’ll see us near the N. C. Desai Petrol Pump in Chhatral. Being on the highway is pretty noisy with all the trucks and cars zooming past at all hours. It gets quite dusty too, especially when the wind picks up. We are in the transport business, so it makes sense for us to be right by the road. The office is basically a hub where we manage the movement of goods. There’s always someone coming in or out with papers or checking on a shipment. It’s a busy environment and not very quiet. We have a lot of maps and schedules pinned up on the walls. The petrol pump next door is where most people stop, so we use that as our main landmark. It’s a practical location for what we do. The building itself is simple and handles the daily wear and tear of a logistics operation. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating with drivers. It’s a hardworking place, and we don't have time for anything fancy. The weather in Chhatral can be tough, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. It’s a real boots-on-the-ground kind of job here. We usually have a lot of tea to stay awake during the long shifts and keep everything moving on time. Every morning starts with checking the truck logs and making sure the drivers are ready for the road ahead.
