Smit Plastic

Smit Plastic is based over at Plot No. 2109 in Phase-2 of the GIDC. We are right in the thick of the industrial belt. If you come by, you'll see a lot of plastic scrap and finished goods stacked up. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes, but we know where everything is. We started this place because we knew how to work with the machines and there was a need for it. It’s not the most glamorous job, standing over a molding machine in the heat, but it’s honest work. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing department. We just have a phone that rings a lot and some loyal workers who have been with us for years. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend half the night fixing them, but that's part of the deal. We try to keep the place as tidy as an industrial shed can be, but it's always a struggle. We’ve got a good group of guys here who just want to do their jobs and go home to their families. We aren't a huge company, just a local business trying to stay afloat and do right by our customers. If you need plastic stuff done, we are usually here from early morning until late evening. It’s just how we run things at Plot 2109. There is always a new batch of orders to get through before the weekend.
