Shree Swaminarayan Industries

Our industrial unit is over at Plot No. 3536/1 in Phase-4 of Gidc. It is a pretty standard setup for this industrial area. We deal with various industrial parts and manufacturing tasks. The machines are a bit old but they still run well if you know how to talk to them and fix the odd rattle. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too hot for the workers. By noon, the metal roof makes the place feel like an oven, so we drink a lot of water and keep the big sliding doors wide open. There is always a bit of grease on the floor near the lathes. We try to keep it clean, but it is a losing battle in this kind of trade. We have a small shed for our supplies and a corner where we take our lunch breaks together. It is not much, but it works for our needs. We don't do a lot of advertising or anything like that. Most people find us because they know we are here in Phase-4 and have been for years. We spend a lot of time tinkering with machine settings and making sure the output is exactly what it should be. It takes a lot of focus to get the dimensions right every single time. Sometimes we mess up and have to start over, which is frustrating, but that is part of the job we do.
