Shree Ji Textile

Shree Ji Textile operates from Plot No. 3052 Phase 3 Idc Chhatral. Chhatral is a bit of a trek from the main city, but it is where all the action is for textiles. Our plot is a large shed where we keep the machines running almost around the clock. There is always a fine layer of lint in the air, which is just part of the textile life. We spend a lot of our time moving heavy yarn cones and watching the threads weave together. It is a lot of standing and walking on concrete floors, so we all wear comfortable shoes. We do not have a fancy reception area. If you come to visit, you will probably find us near the back loading dock or sitting at the old wooden desk in the corner. We handle things as they come. If a machine breaks, one of us fixes it. If a delivery is late, we call the driver and see what the hold-up is. We do not use any complicated software to run the place; a few notebooks and a phone do the trick. The people who work here are like family, and we have been through the ups and downs of the market together. We just keep our heads down and focus on the looms. It is not a glamorous job, but it is what we know how to do, and we do it every day at Plot 3052.
