Our place is out on the Ahmedabad-Mehsana Highway, specifically in the village of Indrad near Chhatral. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, so the surroundings are quite different. You see more trucks and open fields than tall buildings around here. The facility is at No. 750/1. It’s a large space because we need room for all the healthcare products we handle. The air is a bit clearer out here, though the highway noise is constant. We start our days early to beat the heat. Most of the staff comes from the nearby villages. It’s a practical setup without any of those fancy office decorations you see in the city center. We focus on the logistics of moving supplies. There is a lot of loading and unloading happening at the back gate. Sometimes the power goes out, which is common in this area, so we have to deal with that as it happens. We have a small area where we eat lunch together. It’s mostly just talk about the local news or the weather. Being located on the highway makes it easy for the big transport trucks to reach us without getting stuck in city traffic. We’ve stayed here because it makes sense for the work we do. It’s a quiet life in some ways, despite the trucks. We just keep our heads down and make sure the boxes are ready for dispatch. Every day is pretty much the same routine.
