Our place, Pointer Instruments Pvt. Ltd., is located in the Gidc Estate, specifically at Plot No. 210 in Phase-1. Being in an industrial estate means it's always noisy with trucks and machines, but that's just the environment we're used to. We deal with instruments and technical stuff every single day. It requires a lot of focus and sometimes the shop floor gets a bit cramped when a big order comes in. We’ve had this spot for years. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’d rather spend the time working on the products. Our team is small, and most of us have been here since the start. We know the layout of the estate like the back of our hands. Coffee breaks are usually quick because there is always a deadline or a repair waiting. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy. We see the same faces at the local tea stall every morning. The work we do at Pointer Instruments is steady. We don't go in for big advertisements. If someone needs something, they usually know where to find us in Phase-1. It’s a lot of manual checking and making sure the numbers line up on the gear we handle. Nothing fancy, just hard work. The building itself is a bit grey and plain, but that doesn't matter much to us as long as the work gets done correctly and on time.
