Metline Foam Industries

Metline Foam Industries is situated at Plot No. 3114 in Phase-3 of Gidc. The thing about foam is that it takes up so much room even though it is not very heavy. Our warehouse at Plot No. 3114 is usually packed to the rafters. It is a bit of a maze inside with all the blocks stacked up. Phase-3 is a busy part of the estate, and we see a lot of traffic passing by our gate every hour. The air in here sometimes has that specific smell of new foam, which you get used to after a day or two. We have a small office tucked away in the corner where the phone rings more than it should. Most of our day is spent moving material and checking the cutting machines. It is not the cleanest job, as there are always little bits of foam floating around the floor. We sweep up every evening, but by the next morning, it is back again. The staff here is a small group. We have all been working in Gidc for years, so we know how the system works. When a customer comes to the door, they usually just want to know if their order is ready. We do not have a fancy showroom or a catalog. You just see what is being made right there on the floor. It is a very hands-on kind of business. We just stay focused on the work at hand.
