Meldi Industries is over in Phase-3 of the Gidc Estate, specifically at Plot No. 3244. This part of the estate is quite old, so the buildings have that worn-in look. We don’t mind it because it means the foundations are solid and the neighbors are established. Our daily routine is pretty much the same every day. We come in, check the schedule, and get the machines warmed up. There’s always a bit of a scramble in the morning to get everything organized. The plot is big enough for us to store what we need, but we have to be careful not to let things get messy. We have a few guys who have been with us since we first opened the doors here. We don’t do a lot of talking while the work is going on because the noise is too much. Usually, we wait for the lunch break to catch up. The office part of the building is just a small room with a computer that sometimes acts up and a couple of filing cabinets for the records. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world. We just want to make sure the stuff we send out is decent and that we pay our bills on time. Being in Phase-3 means we have a lot of neighbors doing similar work, so we sometimes borrow tools from each other if something breaks down suddenly. It's just a regular workplace.
