Krishna Ceramic Industries

We’ve been running Krishna Ceramic Industries out of Phase-2 in the GIDC for quite some time now. Our place is at Plot No. 1704. It's a busy spot, mostly industrial, but we've gotten used to the noise and the routine. Dealing with ceramics means a lot of dust and heavy lifting every day. My brother and I started this because we knew the trade, and it just felt like the right thing to do in this area. We aren't doing anything fancy here. Most days involve checking the stock, making sure the kilns are okay, and loading up trucks that head out to different towns. People stop by sometimes asking for specific tiles or clay items, and we just show them what we've got in the shed. It is hard work, especially when the weather gets hot, but we keep at it. The floors are usually covered in grit, and the office is just a small corner with a desk and some old chairs. We don't have a big team, just a few local guys who know how to handle the materials without breaking them. It’s a simple setup. We just focus on getting the orders ready on time. Sometimes the power goes out, which messes things up, but that is just part of working in this part of Gidc. We’re just a local business trying to keep things moving day by day without making a big fuss about it.
