Jatin Rice Mill

Jatin Rice Mill is located over at Plot No. 3205 in Phase-3 of the GIDC Estate. If you come by, you’ll smell the grain before you even see the gate. It is a busy place, especially during the harvest seasons when the trucks are lined up outside. We deal with a lot of dust and noise from the milling machines. It’s just how it is. We aren't trying to be the biggest mill around, just trying to do the job right for the people who bring us their rice. The floor is usually covered in a fine layer of husk. We spend a lot of time maintaining the belts and the rollers. Phase-3 is a crowded area so parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We’ve known the guys at the other units for years. We eat lunch together in the shade when we can find a quiet moment. It’s not a clean-shirt kind of job. You’re going to get dirty if you stay here for more than five minutes. We don't have any big speeches about what we do. We just turn the machines on in the morning and turn them off when the work is finished. The address is 3205, right in the middle of the estate. It is a solid building and it has served us well since we moved in. There are plenty of challenges with the humidity, but we just manage it as it comes.
