We are located at Plot No. C-1/b, 1605-1606 in the GIDC area. It is a large space because we need the room for the heavy equipment and the polymer processing we do. The smell of melting plastic is something you get used to after a few days of working here. We do a lot of technical work, though it looks like any other factory from the outside with the grey walls and big doors. The machines are big and require a lot of constant attention. We spend most of our shifts watching the gauges and making sure everything stays at the right temperature. If the heat is off by even a little bit, the whole batch of polymer can be ruined, which is a big waste. It is stressful sometimes, but we’ve been doing this long enough to know the tricks of the trade. The loading dock is always busy in the early mornings with trucks coming in. We have a small team, and everyone knows their role without being told. No one wears suits here. It’s all work clothes and heavy boots. We have a small break room where we eat lunch and complain about the heat or the traffic. It’s a decent place to work if you don't mind the noise and the hard physical labor. We just try to get the engineering right and make sure the orders leave on time. The lights in the back of the warehouse are a bit dim, but we know where every pallet is stored. It’s just how we run things at the plot.
