Harsh Packaging

Our workshop is located at Plot No. 3509 in the GIDC area of Phase-4. If you know the industrial zone, it's pretty easy to spot. We deal with boxes and packaging materials all day long. The machines make a lot of noise, so you get used to shouting over them to be heard. It's a bit dusty in here sometimes with all the cardboard and paper lying around. We’ve got stacks of materials piled up nearly to the ceiling. It might look a bit disorganized to an outsider, but we know exactly where the different sizes are kept. Usually, the morning is the busiest time when the delivery vans are lining up outside the gate. We just try to keep the cutters running and the glue dry. It’s straightforward work, nothing too complicated about it. We’ve been at this spot for some time now, and the neighbors in the other GIDC plots are all doing their own thing too. It’s a working man’s area. We don’t have much in the way of a front office, mostly just the production floor. That’s how we like it, just keeping busy with the orders that come in. There’s no need for fancy titles here. We just grab our gloves and get to the boxes as soon as the shift starts. Sometimes we stay late to finish a big run, but that's just part of the job. It gets tiring but we manage.
