Hari Om Poli Plast

You can find us at Plot No. 3312/9 in Phase-4 of the GIDC Estate. It’s a bit of a drive into the industrial zone, but that’s where all the action is. At Hari Om Poli Plast, we work with plastics all day long. The smell of raw materials is something you just get used to after the first week. We have a few machines that run pretty much constantly, making a low humming sound that fills the whole building. The floor is usually covered in little bits of plastic trim that we have to sweep up at the end of every shift. Our team isn't very big, just a handful of us who know how to keep the equipment running without too many hiccups. We spend a lot of time loading sacks of material and watching the molds. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a nice shirt. We’re usually in old clothes that can get a bit dirty. We don't really have a big sign out front or a fancy reception desk. Most of our visitors are just truck drivers picking up orders. Sometimes the power goes out in the estate and we all have to sit outside and wait for it to come back on. Those are the times we just chat and look at the other factories nearby. It’s a simple life here in Phase-4, just making parts and going home.
