Fab Laser Tech Pvt. Ltd. is based at Plot No. C-1-1219 in Phase-1 of Gidc. It’s a busy part of the industrial area, and there’s always something going on nearby. We focus on laser cutting, so the shop is filled with the constant hum of the machines and the cooling systems. It’s a bit different from the traditional workshops around here because it’s a lot cleaner, but it’s still hard work. We spend a good chunk of our morning just setting up the programs and making sure the metal sheets are aligned right. If you walk in, you’ll probably see a few of us staring at the screens or checking the precision of a cut. We don't have a big corporate office; our workspace is right there with the machines. My uncle thought we were taking a big risk when we first brought in this technology, but we’ve stayed steady. The noise can be a bit much, so we mostly communicate with hand signals when the lasers are running. We don't have any promotional brochures or a fancy mission statement. We just get the jobs done as they come in. Sometimes the deadlines are tight, and we end up staying late into the evening. It’s just the way the business works. We’re just a small team trying to make sure every piece we cut is exactly what was asked for.
