If you ever find yourself driving through Phase-4 of the Gidc Industrial Estate, you might pass by our place at Plot No. C-1-3323/2. We go by Eminent Electricals Pvt. Ltd., though the name sounds a bit more formal than we actually are. Inside the building, it's mostly just a bunch of us working through the daily list of tasks. The floors are concrete and there's always a bit of dust because that is just how industrial estates are. We spend most of our hours making sure everything is running right. It is a decent-sized space but we manage to fill it up with tools and equipment pretty quickly. Some days are more chaotic than others, especially when several things need attention at once. We’ve been at this location for a while and the neighbors all know us by now. We don't have a big front office with a receptionist; usually, you just walk in and find whoever is available to talk. It's a practical way to run things. We mostly focus on the technical side of things rather than how the office looks. The tea guy comes around twice a day and that is usually when we take a short break before getting back to the electrical work. Being in Gidc means there is always something happening outside, but we stay focused on what’s inside our own four walls at Plot No. C-1-3323/2. It’s honest work and we like it that way because it is what we know.
