Down at Plot No. 1105 in Phase-2 of the Gidc, you will find Dharti Seeds Corporation. We deal with seeds all day long, so the place often has that earthy smell that comes with agriculture. Being in Phase-2 means we are surrounded by all kinds of other companies, but our focus stays on the bags and containers of seeds piled up in our warehouse. The building at Plot No. 1105 is a solid structure that keeps the stock dry and safe from the weather outside. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone trying to sell a dream to people. We just handle the seeds and make sure they get to where they are going. The life of a seed business is often tied to the natural seasons, so some months are much more hectic than others. When the planting season is near, the energy in the plot goes up and we are working longer hours to keep up with the demand. Other times, it is a bit quieter, and we spend our time checking the inventory and maintaining the space. It’s a simple cycle that we have grown to appreciate over the years. We don't use fancy jargon or try to sound more important than we are. We are just a group of people working out of a Gidc plot, doing our jobs and going home at the end of the day. It’s honest work, and we like it that way.
