Dharmaji Textiles

Dharmaji Textiles is located at Plot No. 3050 in Phase-3 of the Gidc area. If you come by, you’ll probably hear the looms or the clicking of the textile machinery before you even see the sign. It’s a pretty standard industrial unit. We deal with fabrics and threads every single day. The air inside always has that specific smell of raw cotton or synthetic fibers, depending on what we're running that week. We aren't a big corporation with fancy offices. Our space is mostly taken up by the workspace and storage for the rolls of cloth. Most of us have worked here for quite some time, so we know the quirks of the machines. When something breaks, we usually fix it ourselves right there on the floor. It’s a lot of manual work and watching the tension on the lines. Phase-3 is a busy part of the Gidc, so there’s always movement outside our gates. Trucks come and go, taking our finished goods to wherever they need to go next. We don't do much in terms of promotion. Most people find out about us through word of mouth or because they’re looking for a specific kind of textile work in this area. We keep our heads down and focus on the orders. The office is just a small room with a desk and a couple of chairs. It’s simple, but it serves its purpose for us. We just keep the fabric moving and the machines humming.
