Bhanuday Thread Industries

Over at Plot No. 903 in Phase-2 of the GIDC, that’s where Bhanuday Thread Industries is based. It’s a lot of spinning and winding going on here all day long. When you walk inside, you can hear the hum of the bobbins and the machines that never seem to stop. The air always has a little bit of lint floating around, which is just part of working with thread. We’ve been in this spot for a while now, and the layout of the place is basically designed around the workflow. It’s not a quiet place, but you get used to the rhythm after a few days. We deal with different types of thread, and some of the colors are quite bright, which makes the floor look interesting when we are in the middle of a big job. Most of the staff here have very steady hands because you need that for this kind of work. We aren't a massive corporation; we’re just a local business trying to do things the right way. Sometimes we run out of space for all the boxes, and they end up stacked high near the entrance. The GIDC area can be quite busy with trucks, especially in the mornings. We try to get our deliveries sorted before it gets too chaotic outside. It’s just honest work, making something that other people need for their own sewing or manufacturing. We do our best to stay on schedule.
