Amar Plastics

Amar Plastics is located over at Plot No. 3220 and 3221 in Phase-3 of the GIDC. We needed the two plots because our machines and the raw material bags take up a lot of room. It is a bit loud in here most of the time because the plastic molding machines never really stop during the day. We have been working in this area for a long time and we know our neighbors well. The floor usually has some plastic scraps on it, no matter how much we try to sweep. We make basic plastic goods that are used for various things. We are not a high-tech company with fancy robots; we just have older, reliable machines and a few workers who know how to run them. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend the whole afternoon with wrenches and oil trying to fix it. That is just how it goes in a place like this. We do not do any big advertising. Most people find us because they have been coming here for years or someone told them we were in Phase-3. The office is just a small partitioned space where we keep the ledgers and the telephone. It gets hot in the summer, but we keep the big doors open for whatever breeze we can get. It is just honest, daily work for us. We finish our shifts and head home like everyone else.
