Ahmedabad Rubber Ind

We are over at Plot No. 2209 in Phase-2 of GIDC. It's a typical industrial plot where we work with rubber materials. The area is quite dusty sometimes because of all the construction and movement nearby. Ahmedabad Rubber Ind started small and we’ve just stayed in this same spot for years. The building isn't brand new, it has some character from all the work we’ve done inside. We keep our machines in the back and have a tiny space up front for paperwork. Dealing with rubber can be a messy job, so we don't worry too much about keeping everything spotless. It’s about getting the product out the door. The neighbors in Phase-2 are mostly other small factories, so we all know the struggle of traffic and power issues. We start early in the morning before it gets too hot. Usually, we finish up by late evening. Sometimes we stay late if there's a big order to finish. We don't have any big corporate goals, we just want to keep the machines running and our workers busy. It’s a straightforward business. We don’t use any complicated software, just old-fashioned logs and hard work. People who need rubber parts usually find us through word of mouth. It's how things have always worked for us here. The gate is usually open during the day so anyone can just walk in and ask questions. We just take it one day at a time here at the plot.
