Sanjeev Farm

We've been here at Kiran Plaza in Kalloli for a good while now. It’s a busy spot, 12-5/7 specifically. Most days start pretty early because that’s just how it goes when you’re dealing with farm stuff. People come in from all over the area, usually covered in some dust from the fields, looking for whatever they need to get through the week. My hands are usually dirty too. It’s not a fancy place by any means. We’ve got bags stacked up and things aren’t always in the perfect spot, but we know where everything is. If you walk in and it’s a bit quiet, it’s probably because we’re out back moving stuff around or checking on some stock. Kalloli is a decent place to be, even if the traffic gets a bit much near the plaza sometimes. We don't really do the whole big city business thing. It’s more about sitting down, having a quick chat about how the rain is holding up, and then getting back to work. Some days are slow and others we can barely keep up with the folks coming through the door. It’s just us here, trying to keep things moving. We’ve known some of these families for years. You get to know who needs what without them even asking after a while. It’s just how life is around here, steady and a bit predictable, which is fine by me.
