Bhuvanesh Granite

Bhuvanesh Granite is out on Udayampattu Road in Thiyagaturgam. Our specific address is 21/1. It’s a bit of a drive if you’re coming from the main town center, but it’s quieter out here, which is nice for a change. We have a good amount of space for all the granite blocks. The work is mostly manual, moving slabs and making sure nothing gets chipped. Thiyagaturgam is a place where people know each other, so we get a lot of locals coming by. We don’t have a flashy sign or a big glass front. It’s just a gate and a yard. Sometimes the machines are running and it’s hard to hear anything else, but most of the time it’s just us working through the piles. We started this place because there was a need for stone around here. Every day is pretty much the same. We wake up, open the gates, and see what the day brings. The Udayampattu Road can get a bit muddy when it rains, which makes moving the heavy stuff a bit of a challenge. We have a few guys who help with the loading. It’s hard work, and we aren't trying to pretend it’s anything else. We don’t have a lot of office staff, just one person usually handling the books while the rest of us are outside. It’s a practical way to run things, and it works for us.
