Jaya Ash Brick Industries

Jaya Ash Brick Industries is located in Uttar Dinaj Pur, right near Kaliya Ganj College. Being near the college means there are always students walking around and a bit of life in the area. Our site is just a simple setup where we make ash bricks. We started here because the location was convenient for the local builders in the district. The yard is often full of stacks of bricks drying in the sun. We don't have any big corporate headquarters; it's just a shed and the open ground where the work happens. We use the local materials we can get our hands on and just keep the production moving. The weather in Dinajpur can be a bit unpredictable, so we spend a lot of time watching the clouds. If it looks like rain, everyone has to drop what they are doing to cover the bricks. It's a lot of manual labor, and we aren't using any high-tech gadgets to get the job done. We just rely on the machines we have and the hands of the people who work here. It is a plain and simple business. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big talk. We just show up, do the work, and hope the sun stays out long enough for the bricks to set properly. The students sometimes watch the process when they walk by. It's probably a lot different than what they are studying in those books over there at the college. We just keep our heads down and get the bricks stacked up.
