Tofijar Rahaman & Co.

Down in Kalikamora Village, things go at their own pace. Tofijar Rahaman & Co. is basically just us working out of the area near the Post Office. It’s a small operation in Kushmandi Block, way out in the Dinajpur Dakshin district. Most people around here know where we are because we’ve been in this spot for years. The village is quiet, but we keep busy with whatever needs doing locally. We don't have a big flashy sign or anything like that. You just look for the gate near the Kalikamora post office. My cousins and I run things. We mostly deal with local stuff, helping out neighbors and other folks in the block. Being in a rural place like this means you know everyone by name. Sometimes the roads aren't the best, especially when it rains hard, and getting supplies in or out takes a bit longer than we’d like. We spend a lot of time sitting outside the office talking to people who stop by. It’s not like a city office where everyone is in a rush. We take our time and make sure the job is done right. The Dinajpur heat can be something else in the summer, so we usually start early in the morning before it gets too bad. We’ve got a couple of sheds for storage. It’s a simple life out here in the village, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We’re just regular people trying to make a living.
