You can find Ram Rai Cement Store right opposite the Civil Hospital in Kalanwali. It’s a very busy road with ambulances and people coming and going all the time. Being near the hospital makes us easy to locate for anyone in town. The shop itself is mostly full of heavy bags of cement and some tools. There is always a layer of grey dust on everything, including the chairs, but that is just part of the business. We have been here for years, and we know most of the contractors and builders in the area. It is a physical job, moving those bags around, so we stay pretty tired by the end of the day. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. Most people just pull up their truck and we load them up. Sometimes we sit outside on stools when the weather is nice and wait for the next customer. The office part is just a small corner with a table and a fan that squeaks a bit.
