Vedanta Hospital

Down in Kalahandi, at the township in Lanjigarh, Vedanta Hospital is where we spend our days. It is situated right by the P O, which makes it a central spot for anyone living or working around the township area. The landscape around here is quite specific, and being part of this community means we see a lot of the same people day after day. The hospital building itself is straightforward. We have the usual setup with beds, a reception area that always seems to have a stack of folders on it, and exam rooms that stay busy. Working in a place like Lanjigarh, you get to know the locals and the workers from the township pretty well. Our mornings usually start with checking on anyone who stayed overnight and then preparing for the walk-ins. It can be quite hot outside sometimes, so the hospital is a bit of a relief from the sun for those coming in. We don't use a lot of big words or complicated systems; we just talk to people and figure out what is bothering them. The staff here lives nearby, so we are all part of the same small world. Sometimes the power goes out or things get delayed, but that is just life in Kalahandi. We just keep the doors open and do what needs to be done for whoever shows up at the front desk. It is a simple, busy life at the hospital, and we keep things running as they should.
