We are located at Shesadev Sahu’s place in the Irrigation Colony over in Bhawanipatna. It’s a quiet part of Kalahandi, which is nice when we are trying to get our work done. Most of our days are spent at Sukkhan Foods just managing the basic stuff that comes with running a food company in a town like this. We don’t have a big fancy sign or a polished reception area. It’s more of a home-style office where we keep our records and handle the daily calls. The colony itself is pretty calm, with lots of trees and neighbors who have been here for years. We usually start early before it gets too hot outside, because once the sun is up in Orissa, it stays hot. We handle everything from here, from talking to people who supply us to making sure the boxes are packed right. It’s a lot of small tasks that add up. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power cuts out for a while, so we just take a break and wait for it to come back. We aren't a big city firm with all the latest gadgets; we just use what we have to keep things moving. We spend a lot of time checking our inventory and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s just regular work for us, and we like being part of the community here.
