N.R. Ispat & Power Pvt. Ltd.

We are located out in Orissa, right near the Saraswati High School on Khariar Road. N.R. Ispat & Power Pvt. Ltd. has been part of this community for a while. You can usually hear the school bells if the wind is blowing the right way. Working in the ispat and power sector means there is always something going on. It’s heavy work and it takes a lot of coordination. We have a lot of local guys working with us. The road outside can get quite dusty with all the trucks moving in and out, but that’s just how it is around an industrial site. We don't really do much in the way of advertising. Most people around here know who we are and what we do. We just try to keep the lights on and the production moving along without too much fuss. It gets really hot during the mid-day sun, so we tend to start early. There’s a certain way things get done around here in Khariar Road. We aren't trying to be some big corporate giant; we just want to do our jobs and go home to our families. Some days are harder than others, especially when equipment acts up. But we fix it and keep going. That’s just the nature of the industry we are in. We've seen a lot of changes in the local area lately, but we’re still here.
