C. S. C. Center

If you are walking through the Main Market in Kalampur, you will find the C. S. C. Center right near the Jagannath Mandir. It is a very lively spot because of the temple, so there is almost always the sound of bells ringing or people chatting outside our door. We set up shop here because it is where everyone in town naturally ends up at some point in the week. The center is mostly just a few computers and some printers on sturdy tables. We spend our days helping people with their online forms, printing out documents, and dealing with various digital tasks that folks find a bit tricky to do on their own. The market outside is full of stalls selling vegetables and sweets, so there is always a lot of energy around us. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded inside when several families come in at once, but we just bring out some extra stools and tell everyone to wait their turn. It is a small room and it can get quite warm in the afternoons, especially when the sun hits the front window. We try to keep the place organized, but with so many papers and people coming through, it has a lived-in feel. Being near the Jagannath Mandir means we get to see all the local festivals and processions right from our doorstep. It is a good place to be if you want to stay connected to everything happening in Kalampur.
